Season 13 report

Season 13 is nearly to close we now only have our NT sales and season bonuses to be given out. This season saw 12groups contest in division 4 and 24 teams were promoted with a possibility of more depending on the new league structure which may be introduced.

Group 1:
Native Coasters cruised into promotion before the last game was even played, leaving The Kings Home and Rowdy United to battle it out for the remaining promotional spot. Rowdy United needed to win and Kings Home to lose if they were to steal the spot. The last game resulted in both teams losing and The Kings Home taking the second promotional spot into division 3. Li. Renqing from Cronulla United took the golden boot for group 1 with twenty goals.

Group 2:
Group 2’s promotional spots had already been determined by round 31. Zerocool (81points) finished clear on top by 9points from Perfies Glory (72points). The top scorer for group 2 was Josip Clark from Perfies Glory who finished with twenty goals for the season.

Group 3:
Group 3 was another division which promotion was not threated in the last round of the season. Kendell FC (72points) and Might&PowerFC (68points) finished on top. Diamond user Kiara FC finished in 3rd spot and may possibly go up depending on the new league structure.

Group 4:
Group 4 finished relatively close and 4 out of the top 6 teams are now inactive which could make a big difference to the promotion. As it stands currently Onr Shot Camels (73points) and Koppers FC (61points) finished on top. Vermont finished in 4th spot and could still finish 2nd if the inactive teams get deleted. B. Harley and V. Camporeale finished on top of the goal sheet with 24goals each.

Group 5:
The Spartans CF finished clear on top with (88points) and banned club Yellow leopards finished 2nd (71points) and therefore Redman United will be bumped up into promotion. National Team squad member W.Barrass from Hariers finished with 29goals for the season 11goals clear of 2nd spot T.Havercroft.

Group 6:
Group 6 was a very close group which saw 1st and 11th separated by 4games. Kewell United finished clear on 63points. Cats Army, Bald Eagles fc and Brookfield Fury all battled out for 2nd spot in the last game of the season. Cats Army had to win to maintain 2nd spot. Cats Army was pushed with Bald Eagles and Brookfield both winning and Cats Army won 3-0 to steer them into division 3. L.Archer from Cats Army took out the golden boot with 19goals.

Group 7:
Another banned team in group 7 has lead to a changed finish in the final standings. Brisbane town finished on top with 63points, followed by Westside Dirts but because of the ban it has forced 3rd spot team Levski Fc into promotion. L.Camporeale lead the goals scoring for group 7 with 16goals.

Group 8:
Belmore Bulldogs and Hazi Fc finished 1st and 2nd respectively. Melbourne Kangaroos fell agonisingly short of promotion, all that separated Hazi and Melboure was a goal difference of 1. The closest finish so far. The top scorer for group 8 went to D. Black with 18goals.

Group 9:
Promoted team Fc Dilzwhat finished on top of group 9 3games clear of 2nd on 69points. 2nd spot was claimed by Oakhurst United on 60points. Honhourable mention goes to promoted team sub arsenal who fell short only by goal difference of 3. The top scorer for group 9 was B. Esler and L.Yates both scoring 15goals each for the season.

Group 10:
Group 10 saw the last game become a stale mate for chasing teams Canberra Captials and Akragas White Sharks as the promotional spots were already claimed by Socceroos (68points) and Fc Paulo (66points). The last game saw Socceroos draw and Fc Paulo could of snatched top spot but they also drew against 12th spot sexy beasts. The top scorer for group 10 was held by three players. W. Robertson, B. Robbins and J. Goodwin all with 14goals.

Group 11:
Once again the promotional spots for a division were already decided before the last game took place. In group 11 these spots were snatched by Adelaide Comets and Congupna Road FC. However with Adelaide Comets being inactive this has opened the door for 3rd place Shark F.C to gain the promotion. R.Angove lead the goals scoring for group 11 with 20goals.

Group 12:
Group 12’s promotional spots were already decided before round 34. The Woolies (69points) and Arch Angels (64points) are both through to division 3. There are a lot of inactive teams in this group which could be good for some of those mid table teams in divi 5 looking to get promoted.

Divisional Lead Scorer: W. Barrass with 29goals.
Divisional Assists: L. Power with 18 assists
Divisional Productivity Award: W. Barrass with productivity of 37 (29goals, 8assists)
Divisional MPV: B. Nolan
Divisional Best Average: H. Turner 7.13 average rating.

All teams remember it is likely division 3 will expand to 9 groups next season. This will create a greater amount of promotions within Division 4 this season. So hang in there and win win win.

Group 1
This is a tight group with the first 6 teams only being separated by one win. The two teams at the top are The Kings Home and Native Coasters.

But the big winners round 18 were 3rd placed team Rowdy United winning 6-3.

Group 2

Two teams have taken a strong lead at the top Perfies Glory and Zerocool FC the only challenge to them at this stage is from Yobe FC.

Group 3

This is a group were none of the promoted teams have a chance of finishing in the top 2. With the closest promoted team currently in 6th spot.

Kendell FC with Might and Power hold the top two spots with relegated side Regeside one win away in 3rd.

Diamond TM side Kiara FC is currently fighting for their lives in the relegation zone.

Group 4

This is a group to keep your eyes on with 7 teams still having a chance to finish in the top 2. Currently held by Onr Shot Camels and Koppers FC.

The Waterboys had a shock 5-1 loss to Atletico Untied FC round 18.

Group 5

The Spartans CF will finish 1st in this group with two Pro teams currently 2nd and 3rd Redman United and Green Gully Lions FC. SE Melbourne is the only other team with a chance of catching them.

Redmans United and SE Melbourne had a great shoot out last round finishing in a draw 3-3.

Group 6

This is another group with a lot of teams still having a chance of finishing in the top 2. Currently 8 teams are in with a chance. The top 2 teams are Everton FC No 2 and Cats Army.

3rd placed Bald Eagles FC was destroyed by middle table side BrisVegas Reds 4-0.

Group 7

Brisbane Town is on top with 11 wins. 5 teams are fighting for 2nd currently held by Fittas Army.

Relegated team Ganlian is clearly on the bottom of the ladder and will be relegated again at seasons end.

Group 8

This is a 3 horse race with Belmore Bulldogs on top with only one loss. Followed by St Cats FC and Hazi FC. The other teams look doubtful if they can make any inroads.

Group 9

FC Dilzwhat is a mile in front having only his first loss last round and will finish on top. 9 teams are fighting for that all important 2nd spot with only two wins between them. Currently Fremantle United holds 2nd spot with 4 wins in his past 5 matches.

Group 10

Another tight group with Canberra Capitals a relegated team on top. 9 teams also fighting for 2nd spot currently held by FC Paulo.

Match to watch round 19 Canberra Capitals Vs Akragas White Sharks im predicting a 0-0 score line.

Group 11

Equal leaders with 34 points are Congpna Road Football Club and Adelaide Comets with 4 other teams still close enough to finish in the top 2.

Coffs City United and Blue devils will be relegated at the end of the season.

Division 4 round 10, how is it shaping up?

We are now 10 rounds into the season and there is only 24 matches left to play in the regular season so anything can change at this point of the competition.

From groups one and two there are two teams clear on top of the table these are FCSturt and Perfies Glory (group two) who are both clear by just one game. It’s about that time of the season though that we are starting to see some teams drop away from the competition. Bentley Football Club, Annerley and Fanecas all have just one win so far in group two whilst Copeland Royal FC is holding the group one table up.

Group three sees Kendall FC clear out in front with 28 points from a possible 30 this season not losing one game yet. However groups four and five are looking a lot closer with the top 4 teams from group four separated by just 4 points, whereas group fives top 5 is separated by just 5 points.

Group six is a very close and interesting group as the top four teams are separated by just five points, however Brookfield Fury who is so far undefeated has been plagued with some costly draws which has seen them drop to third position. Perth FC is also struggling to get off the mark in this group who is dwelling at the bottom of the table with a record of 0-3-7.

The top six teams in group seven are separated by just 6 points. On top of this table sees banned club Westside Dirts and pro team ACT sitting in second spot. The step up in class looks like it has troubled a lot of clubs in this group of division four. Seven out of the eight promoted teams are sitting in 8th position or lower and the only relegated team in this group is sitting at the bottom with a record of 0-1-9.

Group eight is another close competition at the top of the table the top five teams is divided by six points. Belmore Bulldogs sits clear on 23points from Hazi FC on 22 points however Hazi is yet to be defeated in this group and it looks like draws have cost this team top spot in the group.

Group nine is probably the closest group in the division with the top nine teams separated by six points with FC Dilzwhat leading this group on 20points. Groups 10, 11 and 12 all have very close groups at the top. Group twelve is lead by Wonthaggi United on 23points. The top five teams from group twelve were all promoted this season. Promoted club Adelaide Comets leads group eleven with 23points who is clear by one game from second and two games from 3rd and 4th. Group ten is close with the top six teams divided by six points. Relegated team Canberra Capitals leads this group by two points and is on 23points.

Lukas Archer (Cats Army) and Will Barrass (Hariers) both lead the high goal competition with 10 goals each; both players are senior players in their team and are leading from the front. The best/most consistent player so far is William place of the Belmore Bulldogs who has an average rating of 7.8. The dirtiest player so far in the competition is Ian Hill (T.H.A.F) who has received 8 cards from 9 games.

The team of division four for this right up is Kendall FC from group 3 who has 28points from 30 and a goal difference of +19.
I didn’t receive any mail about any classic games etc. so none of them were included in the report. Hope you enjoyed the review of division four stay tuned for more.

Division 4, Round 4

Well the new season has begun again and we have now played four games in division four. This season division four contains 12 groups all are hoping to do well in the cup and grab promotion.

Some of the standout teams so far include Victoria Redbacks from group 1 who have won all their games so far winning both two games at home and away. This is a very close group with recently promoted 10th spot team Fratarovoski Team only 5 points off the chase. This group should be very competitive and it will be interested to see who will get the two promotion spots.

Group four has another undefeated team in Koppers FC taking a two point lead in the table with a healthy +7 goal difference. Flying Hippos is yet to earn a point in this group.

Recently relegated team Everton FC No.2 leads group six with twelve points once again being undefeated thus far. He looks to have a very strong team this season with a goal difference of +9. It will be interesting to see if he can hold his spot at the top and get back into division three next season.

The only two pro teams of group 8 sit at the top of the ladder. Belmore Bulldogs who is yet to drop a point and Melbourne Kangaroos. Both teams have the same goal difference yet Belmore sits four points clear on top.

Group 10 looks to be a very even competition and it will be interesting to see who will come out on top in this group. Only five point’s separate 1st from 14th. Fc. Paulo is equal on points with oz united and only goal difference separates these two teams at the top.

Highlights so far this season have come from Ned Atkinson who has scored six goals from his first four appearances this season for Bexley Macedonia (Group 7). The seasoned veteran of 82 games is looking to hold his spot and these recent performances are sure to keep him in the current line up.

Bob Patten goalkeeper of Fairfield West Lions (Group 12) was just starting to get his season off the ground with two great performances (2 MoM and an average rating of 9.5). However Bob took a nasty injury and is out for the next 5weeks. Fairfield is hoping to get this young 12000asi jet back into their team as soon as possible.

I will be updating this next every two weeks

Thanks for reading
