Worst Team of the Season: AstroZ – Never should have been promoted and unlikely to be ever promoted to the big time ever again.
Signing of the Season: A. "El Tacataca" Mahuze (Dangerous Alliance FC) – Didn’t play enough games to be considered for the Johnny Warren Medal. But did he leave an impression in the A League. Transformed the struggling DA side to title contenders at one stage, single handedly. 13 goals from 16 games at 7.38 – what a record.
Lower Division Manager of the Season: Hawz Durv (Bora Juniors) – back in A League after a couple of seasons in Division 2.3. Unlike the other two Division 2 winners, has a squad that can do well next season. How will he cope with injuries and suspensions?
